I bought a new phone last year and downloaded Candy Crush on it, obviously starting from scratch again. I'm now on 253 on the standard game and 130 on Owl on my phone and still the same on my tablet (I haven't played it for ages).

Interestingly, 245 on my new phone is not the same game as the 245 on my tablet that I got stuck on last year. I've just switched on my tablet and it is now also a different game! So they've changed the game. I'll try to get past it now on the new easier game.

Something really odd has happened. I turned on my Candy Crush app and clicked on Play but it said I had no lives left. That's odd because I haven't played it since yesterday.

I looked at the "Time to next life" and it said: 1592264 minutes! That's 26,537 hours, which is 1105 days, which is....

.... THREE YEARS!!!!!!

What's going on?

Yes! I dropped the phone and the battery came out and the phone reset itself to 01/01/2014.

I changed the date on the phone and can play Candy Crush now. I now also know how to keep playing when I run out of lives. Just reset the date to some time in the future.

It works! I've tried it.

Yes, I've heard of people changing the date and/or time in the future. I haven't done it myself. It would mess up my calendar notifications, so I always wait.

I'm on Candy Crush level 1776, and Candy Crush Soda level 765. It's getting a lot harder in the higher levels.

I'm on Candy Crush Saga level 313 and Owl level 195. I don't play it much these days and the levels I'm at at the moment are quite tricky so I don't think I'll be progressing much any time soon.

I'm now on level 237 of the owl version but still on 313 of the standard game. I think I've only played the standard game twice in the last month, both times by accident.
