I don't know if many K-F's go the Monkey Bar these days. My next visit to good ole' Korat is in November and I'll be having their Sunday roast, for sure.

I don't know if many K-F's go the Monkey Bar these days.

I don't even know where it is. :)

I expect their Christmas bookings are full now but if someone could tell me where the Monkey Bar is, I might pop in for a look anyway.

And if anyone knows where else in Korat is doing Christmas dinners this year, could you mention it here please? I'm in the mood for some good food.

Hi Alfie - the Monkey Bar, (was the 'Check In'), coming from the centre, straight at the traffic lights just after Korat Chef and after say 200 metres straight at the next traffic lights too. Then about 150 metres on your left.

(100 metres before the Leosor hotel).

The food can be very good - I sampled some sort of chicken wrap 'thing' there on my last visit - it was excellent, as was the roast.

Thanks Roger, We managed to get a booking at the Monkey Bar and enjoyed a lovely meal yesterday, and there was lots of it. We all left fully stuffed. Two thumbs up from all of us.

IMHO OK to recommend 'Monkey' to your Falangs, Waterheart.

These days it's a family acceptable venue with good Thai and Falang food - music, sport on TV's and so on - maybe not so much fun as it used to be when the Heng Band was rocking away  ;)

I remember 'Tiger' as being almost 'roadside', full of Thai 'youngsters', expensive and with a superb selection of bottled beers.
