Yesterday The Mall Korat informed on their Facebook account that from next Monday, 24 May, it will open a so-called walk-in vaccine center in the MCC Hall on 3rd floor, operated by staff of Bangkok Hospital and of other private hospitals. They also wrote that the center will vaccinate up to a maximum of 5,000 people a day (five thousand). Vaccination will be free of charge but vaccine brand is not mentioned.
This morning news came out that yesterday the Prime Minister voiced his objection in principle to walk-in vaccination centers, but it seems that he was referring especially to Bangkok.
In my condo they started distributing forms to book a vaccination date between 7 June and 30 September 2021, in one of three future vaccination centers:
- At The Mall Korat (operated by Bangkok Hospital)
- At Terminal 21 Korat (operated by Khai Suranaree military hospital)
- At Central Korat (operated by Maharat hospital)
Vaccination will be free of charge but vaccine brand is not mentioned.
