Alfie, where did you go to get your booster jab? How long since you got your second booster?

Thanks Alfie, echoing Eagle's questions, where did you go and how long since Jab  2 ? I also wondered what vax Alfie got for Jab 1 and Jab 2 ?

I'm Pfizer x 2 so still expecting to wait 6 months . . . .

^ It was 3 months since my second shot but I 'qualified' for a booster after 8 weeks.

A couple of weeks ago I posted ..

Anyone in Thailand wanting a booster, I suggest you look for details of vaccine centres near you and find out what they have available and when the walk-in days are. Try the hospital websites and/or their Facebook pages.

Look at the Maharat hospital FB page and also the Central Korat FB page. Check them daily.

On 27 December, Central posted that they had walk-ins available the next day (28 Dec).
On 28 December, Maharat Hospital posted that they had walk-ins available the next day (29 December).

The adverts/posters look identical except for the date; vaccinations being at Central, on the Ground floor opposite KFC.

Three vaccines are available for the third shot at Central: AZ, Pfizer, Moderna. See below.

On 25 December, Teparat Hospital Nakhonrathasima also posted about vaccines on 28 and 29th December. It is not clear to me if they are being given at the hospital or elsewhere. Look here to find out or contact the hospital.

There have been walk-ins available for vaccines for the past 4 days at Central, Korat. Did anybody go and get a booster?

Thanks Alfie, this is helpful info.  I haven't been for a 3rd jab yet as, having had two Pfizers in Aug and Sep, I am still unsure whether I need to wait 6 months or 3 months.  There seems to be some confusion about this.

More bosters at Central for today and yesterday. The same details as in my earlier post (reply #23).

I suppose we can assume it is daily thing now until we find out otherwise.

I got my second booster shot today (4th in total). Pfizer. My last two shots were Astra Zeneca, the last one was 4 months ago.

I went to a local clinic that had vaccines. I was vaccinated five minutes after arriving. My wife got her second booster a few minutes after that. Then one of my sisters-in-law got hers, then a friend and her family got theirs. Very relaxed and efficient. My daughter got her first booster today at her school. She's now had 3 Pfizer shots.

Hi Alfie,
Which local clinic did you go to for your latest vaccine?

No problems at Central, wife and granddaughter boosted and I received a 4th jab which I am not eligible for in the UK.

Well done Teess. I'm waiting for 6 months after the 3rd.

I returned on 25th April and for weeks was almost the only maskee in Melksham. Evenso, I tested a positive on 11th May and am not yet clear. B*llocks. So I've ISO'd on Minder, The Bill, Heartbeat and best of all, Law and Order this last week, if nothing else . . . . . .

Compared to my run with covid last year, omicron is certainly easier and the vax has probably helped me in getting mild symptoms only.

I wondered what vax you had ?

2 AZ last year followed by a Pfizer booster in October, so 7 months ago. Never had Covid and never had a test. Pfizer in Central. As this booster shot will not show on my medical records I'll have to have a 5th when our shambolic UK government gets round to offering 2nd boosters.
