An amazing season shapes up in the EPL - the current 'big 4' are locked together at the top. Yet surprise package Brighton will be 1 point leaders if they can beat lowly Palace tonight  :o

Spurs have lost their last 3 and Arsenal have won their last 3.

Pointless Norwich  ;)  prop up the bottom 5 teams, none of whom have a win after 6 games   :(

Man City have conceded just 1 goal and Chelsea 2, in 6 games.

Chelsea were looking unstoppable until Manchester City stopped them. Can Liverpool keep up with those 2?
Spurs looking poor with Harry Kane demotivated. United inconsistent, Arsenal resurgent, Villa, Everton, Brighton and Brentford showing well. Leicester, Southampton, Leeds, Newcastle and Burnley struggling while Norwich look doomed already. Shaping up for a good competitive season but could do without these international break disruptions.

Watching what's been going on recently with Chelsea and Man Utd, I think Man U should try to appoint Thomas Tuchel as manager asap.

Watching whats been going on recently with Man Utd, I think Tuchel will be mad to leave Chelsea for United. It doesn't appear much will change with the sporting side of the club, just above stairs, so to speak and some of the potential buyers have said they don't want anything to change their either!

Burnley sack Dyche.
Madness. Who are they going to get now with 8 games to play that will improve them?

Yes, a crazy sacking. They need to find someone to bring them straight back again, just as, erm, Dyche did!

I agree Burnley have most likely made a mistake. With a proven Manager in a relegation fight, I think a good approach is to say, 'Keep going Sean, we have faith in you and if we do go down, we'll be looking to you to get us back up next season'.

IMO that settles the whole Squad for the fight and gives hopes of continuity next season.

It's easy to confuse 'action' with 'progress'.

Watching City and Liverpool the first 20 minutes, I could hardly believe my eyes - having a GK who can pass the ball is surely sometimes helpful but FGS both sides were overplaying this madly.

I'm sure I wasn't alone in seeing a goal coming. I remember one pass from a GK to a defender on the edge of the penalty area who had an opposing attacker less than 2 metres either side of him. There were long sequences of passes to and from the GK's.

For all the genius of both Managers I say, what a shambles  ???

Steffen's error was beyond belief.

Liverpool in the first half were amazing - the best slick and quick team passing possible I would think. Can City hold on in the EPL ? At least it's in their own hands  8)

I think Pep's team selection suggested that a league and Euro double, takes priority over the FA Cup.

I wonder which Chelsea will turn up later?

Re. these Goalies - just watched MoD and it was Sanchez of Brighton this time playing smart - whoops a goal   ::)  What the Coaches are missing IMO is that too much fiddling around back there allows the attackers time to press harder and harder.

Just reflecting how much stronger Liverpool have been since Virgil van Dyke came back from his long injury. Liverpool don't look like dropping a point do they?

If Man City hold on this season, next season will be a titanic struggle with Liverpool as they are now . . . Salah is amazing.

Many were surprised to see Sean Dyche sacked BUT I see Burnley picking up points hard on Everton's tail now. Time will tell.

CONGRATULATIONS to Sunderland on beating Wycombe and getting promoted to the Championship. Teess must be chuffed.

I was pleased to see shed shaped ex-TUFC Adebayo Akinfenwa on the pitch for Wycombe.  Late in their last match, the ball came to Bayo's head and he just stood there while a burly defender bounced off him. Nice header to another who scored. I believe he's retiring now.

Teess - I suggest this triumph warrants major celebrations LeO style but don't forget you need a clear head tomorrow for your EPL post.

I am chuffed but sober. Couldn't find a live stream so missed the game. I will post my predictions and try to make up 3 points before I watch the City game with a Chang.

Yes, congratulations. Sunderland were by far the better team. Pritchard was excellent. I was very impressed by him.

I watched on live streaming via www.warpfootball.com. You have to turn any VPN off. Warp gives a list of all the live streaming providers, if you have an option to translate to English, do so, then scroll down to the Thai time of KO and look out for the English flag. There were over 20 providers for yesterdays game. Over half were linked to company called 'Doo'. They are being targeted at the moment and as soon as I switched to one, it was cut off in seconds.  So I linked to one that wasn't 'Doo' and watched the Sky sports presentation, uninterrupted, with English commentory, half and end of game analysis and the end of game presentations. I use 'Warp' in my private browser.

Good luck for next Season. Hope you never get in this mess again. Happened to Chelsea in the mid seventies. We had to beat Bolton away to avoid dropping into the old Division 3. We won 1-0 and I was there, as were 1000's of others.
