Not sure if this is the correct place to ask this  :)

I want to post a few photographs I have taken , but when I post them and press preview the photograph looks way to large . Are images posted automatically resized to fit , or do I need to re size the photographs my self before posting them .

Thanks

Ken

Photos can't be larger than 450KB and total photos can not exceed 900KB. I resize mine down to between 300 - 400KB

Hi Ken

There is an alternative method which is perhaps easier and also does not limit the dimensions or number of images. It is to use ibb.com (https://imgbb.com/). This is a photo-hosting website and makes posting images simple -

1. Go to imgbb.com. You can create your own account, or use the shared account created for K-F members. The username is korat-farang and the password is nakhon. REMEMBER, this is a shared account. Do not upload any valuable or important pictures; create your own account if you have important pictures. The process is identical:

2. Select 'Upload'. You have various upload options (drag, paste, select from computer, url). Chose your image/ images and upload.

Untitled-design" border="0
3. Once the image/s is uploaded, hover over the image (or click on the image, or choose 'select all' for multiple images) and look for the 'Embed codes' button. Choose HTML Image.

Untitled-design-1" border="0
Untitled-design-4" border="0
Back in K-F, create a post/ reply. Paste the code directly into the reply; it will be a chevron with 'img' and a code string.

4. To center the image, highlight the code string and use 'centered' button.

Untitled-design-5" border="0

5. Use the Preview button to check the post is how you want it, and click Post.

It is more complicated to explain than to use! I have not tested it using a mobile phone yet: I assume it is possible, but I am not sure if ibb has an App to make it easier.

There may be other methods: if anyone has other options please let us know.

Many thanks for the information , I'm going to give it a try and will post back
