I remember going to see Duanne Eddy & the Rebel Rousers ( the twangs the thang ) live at our local cinema in the late 1950's,
Makes me realise what an old bugger I am now

I remember seeing Bad Co at Newcastle City Hall and Paul Rodgers looked like Neil Diamond - very disappointing.....

Saw Neil Diamond in the 70's at Earls Court and again about 10 years later at Wembley concert arena, excellent both times, a great singer/songwriter

No argument there Jivvy, but Paul Rodgers should not have been a looky-likey!!

Well Queen was the best concert I ever saw. Agree that Freddie was an absolute star.

This is new for me. I saw it described as punk but it sounds nothing like punk to me. It sounds more like The Who.

Frank Turner - "Peggy Sang The Blues"

I like this second song a bit better.

Hello Salika Donga. Glad to see you haven't been abducted by aliens!! (Some of the other members seem to have been spirited away!).

I suppose I was thinking more on the lines of Magic Bus, or something like that. (I was actually thinking of another song but I can't remember which one now!!)

Tuesday Morning is, of course, from Back Street Crawler. Another great Koss recording.

No I haven't, and I actually had never heard of it but after reading your post and doing a little google search I can see it's something I am going to HAVE TO LISTEN TO. I already have one of the songs on the album - Just for the box. It was on a FREE album - Best Of or Greatest Hits or Gold or something like that. It was a 4 disc album from the early 1980s.

I'll hunt out Tuesday Morning, too.

Best of Free seems to have come in many formats over the years, with different titles as you note.

I believe that the original 4 disc set came out as a limited edition in the 1970's. It was then copied and could be purchased in Germany as a look alikey, but not as a limited edition. I had a copy years ago but it jumped about like buggery (ahh the vinyl years!)
