I agree. Reading some the comments on several videos, they think it's about marijuana. Using marijuana to keep from using crack. Walking on the beach with a marijuana cigarette in his hand. Marijuana makes you happy all the time. And the Stony title is a play on stoned or stoner.

I don't think the song was written with marijuana in mind, but who knows.
