Some local drama on the IOM: a light plane crash yesterday. Just about every emergency vehicle on the island went past our house, and a coastguard helicopter from Anglesey: Isle of Man plane crash.

Doesn't look like there is a hope for the pilot: the stats on Flightradar24 seem to show it went into a sudden dive.

Hi CK. That's a little Cesna. I'm not familiar with F24 and not sure what he was doing but he seems to have been going up and down the coast. It looks then as if he flew into the cliffside. Awful.
