Hi Kev,

I heard a rumour that at 29-2, Australia's last two batsmen are at the wicket  ;)

It'd be great to see England level the Series - but there's still that bl**dy Smith to deal with.

"More than half of the 147 tigers seized from a Kanchanaburi temple three years ago have died of laryngeal paralysis, which causes upper airway obstruction in the animals."

Dateline 14th September

Port FC V NRFC

A massive storm welcomed the players onto the pitch in this match, so vital for different reasons, to both teams. Assumpcao was on the bench, with Chitchanok starting.

In near apocalyptic conditions, the match kicked off but the players were taken off after 3 minutes due to the unplayable pitch.

The game was abandoned without further play.

Maybe this has little connection with 'Global Warming', but I thought this thread a good place (Alfie's Reply 2 is still worth a chuckle) for a snippet about Bangkok . . .

''JAKARTA/BANGKOK/MANILA -- The Asian capitals of Jakarta and Bangkok have the dubious distinction of being among the fastest sinking cities in the world, as residents of both are faced with rising sea levels and extreme flooding, especially during annual rainy seasons and torrential rain falls.''
