I blinked when I noticed this headline :-

I think they are great things, and will soon be outselling petrol and diesel in the UK.

Thailand managed to ramp up the distribution of LPG and CNG for vehicles very quickly. But, that was at a time when liquid fuel was expensive and the conversion from petrol to gas was relatively cheap, so the demand for LPG and CNG increased rather rapidly.

I don't see the same thing happening with electric vehicles until the prices comes way down. Establishing a network of electric stations should be cheaper and easier than it was for LPG/CNG, but until the demand is there progress is going to be slow.

I kind a like these electric cars made on a golf cart frame. I think they were going for around 140,000 baht. Seated 2 people in tandem. Good for around the village. The wife liked the pickup.

Of course this might be too good to be true. But it looks very exciting and I hope Mr Jackson and Austin have the Patents in place    Maybe this will cheer up young Greta a bit

There is a new initiative to differentiate electric cars in the UK, see https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-50122268. Seems like a very good idea, and the first step to separate electric cars from other cars. Given the horrible pollution in BKK, how long before the Thai government takes a bold leap and begins removing the worst polluting vehicles?
