Hot to very hot day forecast for upper Thailand
The Thailand Meteorological Department forecast on Friday (March 13) that a thermal low covers upper Thailand, causing hot to very hot weather in the regions.

Meanwhile, the weak easterly winds across the Gulf bring less rain to the South. From March 14-17, another high-pressure system from China will extend to upper Thailand and the South China Sea where many areas of the upper country have hot to very hot weather. Southwesterly winds will bring humidity from the South China Sea to the Northeast, the East, the Central and the lower North regions. This will also bring summer thunderstorms, thundershowers, gusty winds, hail, and possible lightning over the upper country.

The weather forecast for the next 24 hours is as follows:

Northern region: Hot to very hot in some areas; temperature lows of 17-24 degrees and highs of 38-42 degrees Celsius.

Northeastern region: Hot to very hot during the day with isolated rains in some areas; temperature lows of 22-26 degrees and highs of 38-40 degrees Celsius.

Central region: Hot to very hot in many areas; temperature lows of 24-26 degrees, highs of 39-41 degrees Celsius.

Eastern region: Hot to very hot in some areas with isolated thundershowers in 10 per cent of the areas; temperature lows of 24-27 degrees, highs of 34-40 degrees Celsius; waves under a metre high.

Southern region (east coast): Partly cloudy with isolated thundershowers in 10 per cent of the areas; temperature lows of 22-26 degrees, highs of 33-37 degrees Celsius; waves under a metre high.

Southern region (west coast): Partly cloudy with isolated thundershowers in 10 per cent of the areas; temperature lows of 23-26 degrees, highs of 34-37 degree Celsius; waves under a metre high.

Bangkok and surrounding areas: Hot to very hot in some areas; temperature lows of 26-27 degrees, highs of 36-39 degrees Celsius.

Air condition good or bad - fresh air can't beat it - but we ain't got none

Some health problems have been directly linked to air conditioning and ventilation, although they aren’t caused by the systems themselves.
Air conditioning units that aren’t cleaned regularly allow mould and other micro-organisms to grow. This can exacerbate various health problems, including allergies, asthma and general irritation.

It’s often argued that fresh air is best but the ‘fresh air’ you breathe outside often isn’t clean.  the outdoor air contains pollutants and dust, which really are bad for you. Opening windows causes pollen and airborne spores to enter your building, which isn’t ideal for people with allergies.
