Having reached the age of 62 I have recently been listening to in fact obsessively so, Pink Floyd and am playing the Live at Pompei double album in the house and car all the time. I cannot believe it has taken me this long to discover this great band and their music.
If at first you don't succeed you are clearly not cut out for it. Give up and move on.

You got some lost time to make up. I heard them back in 1967 when they put out their first album. I must admit anything prior to The Dark Side Of The Moon I needed to be stoned to appreciate.  :D

A little birdie tells me John Legend en famille is in Korat to see friends - landed at Korat Airport from Singapore.

TBH I'd never heard of him before it was mentioned to me. Maybe he's at Yamoo later to meet the Governor and so on..

RDRO - you've heard of him I guess ?

Not your kind of music maybe RDRO - I know the Alan Parsons project but not this one - when the Koff Band played this intro I thought it might be U2   ::)   ::)

Koff House, Chantaburi - FULL of surprises . . . a really varied entertaining Band   :D

Roger,
I like Alan Parsons and ELO and Emerson Lake & Palmer. Good music just to listen to, no dancing required. I have just been listening to some solo Jon Lord. He use to play with Deep Purple and then Whitesnake, two bands which I also like. Unfortunately he died in 2012.

The Guardian headline - Jade Bird is the new Dolly Parton   ;)

"Far from being a barmaid with music as her side-hustle, Bird is taking off. Her self-titled debut album, a heartbreak-steeped rattle through indie, Americana and soul music, has earned comparisons with Sheryl Crow and Patti Smith."

Try 'Uh Huh' on YouTube. Another in this link :-

He's good but I wouldn't say the best. Rolling Stone Magazine rates him as #47 as a songwriter. Most of the writers on the list are also singers. My pick would be Smokey Robinson as a singer/songwriter. Pure songwriter would be Bob Dylan.

I did say ONE of the best, but let's not argue, there have been many fine singer/songwriters in our time.
