Frost tourism in Chiang Mai?
« on: December 21, 2011, 10:24:43 AM »

Are you missing the cold weather from home? Do you miss the sound of crunching frost underfoot?

If you do, visit Doi Inthanon in Chiang Mai province in the north of Thailand. Temperatures there dropped to minus 2 degrees Celsius yesterday causing the peak to be covered in frost. Lovely.  :)

I do not miss the cold, wet, windy, grey, miserable and generally awful weather that UK winters usually serve up.  ;D

I went to Royal Flora Expo at Chiang Mai.
It's very beautiful and full of many kinds of flowers and weather is very good.

Hi Waterheart
Where abouts was the Royal Flora Expo held in Chiang Mai? At the 700? year sports stadium?

This is what I miss about winter.
Snow shoeing with my dog, in the woods behind my house, in Quebec.
