Cafe Capu
« on: July 01, 2012, 08:01:04 AM »

Cafe Capu is a German - Thai cafe and restaurant.

It is on the same road as the Sabai Hotel, as you leave the hotel turn right, drive to the traffic lights and continue about 200m, the Cafe is the first shop house on the left, you will see a green sign.

Good food, selection of German & Thai Beers, AC, UBC, free WiFi.

They are closed on Mondays.

Popped in for some food today I had two kinds of German sausage with fries 129 Baht, absolutely delicious they have a range of ice coffee shakes etc. but what might be of particular interest is the German beer warsteiner, Belgian Hoegaarden, Stella and beer Laos, they are pretty expensive obviosly but it's quite a nice place to sit, so might pop in for a Hoegaarden one afternoon =]

Yes it's sort of behind makro and St Mary's Hospital.

Drive past makro heading out of town, at next the traffic lights turn left and then immediately turn left again so you're going back on yourself, you'll go past the ram on the right hand side after 200-300 meters. Keep going for 1-2km and you'll get to a set of traffic lights with a countdown timer, it's about 100 meters past the lights on the left hand side.

Worth the trip very tasty!

I normally go for the ham steaks (smoked or BBQ).

When I get home in 4weeks I'll be around there for dinner.

6 weeks on a rig in Malaysia without pork. ::)

Had a meal here last night and the owner told me they are closed for the next few weeks, they are changing location to The Venice Park housing estate.
