The reports that Osama bin Laden is dead raises some interesting questions.

Firstly, where is the proof? Allegedly, his body was taken by helicopter to a US aircraft carrier in the Arabian Gulf and buried at sea. How convenient! Why not parade the body in public first? Why should we believe the story?

Secondly, if his body really was taken out of Pakistan, who gave the US the right to steal a body from a foreign country (Pakistan) and deny Bin Laden's family the right to a funeral of their choice?

Thirdly, what kind of example is the US showing to the world? Why do they kill people who kill people to show that killing people is wrong?

Fourthly, Obama claimed justice has been done. Sorry, I must have missed the arrest, charging of of crimes, Bin Laden's trial proving his guilt, his conviction, sentencing and appeals - you know, due process. When did that all take place?

By the way, I'm just asking the questions.  :)

Obama: “We will be true to the values that make us who we are.”    :D   ::)

Torture, illegal captivity, body snatching, imprisonment without charge or trial, murder, extra-judicial killing. Thanks for reminding us Mr President. You're no better than the ones you scorn.  ::)
