Another Place for Coffee
« on: November 20, 2012, 03:12:18 PM »

After my Bangkok Bank adventure this morning I found myself at The Mall a few minutes before opening. I decided to try the old-style coffee at this place across from The Mall just a few steps from the pedestrian bridge. It is actually a typical short-order Thai restaurant that also serves the old fashioned coffee (กาแฟโบราณ) that is made with the sock-like filter.

I'm sure most of you have walked past this place and perhaps not even noticed it. In the shot from the pedestrian bridge it is the shop just in front of the parked pickup truck.

The coffee was good, not too sweet and served in a paper cup so I could wander about.
