Accommodation in Koh Chang.

Am heading down to Koh Chang for the Christmas/New Year period. Has anyone any personal recommendations concerning hotels there? Many thanks in advance.

aana resort is lovely. it's on the river rather than right on the beach but it's quiet and the rooms are great. http://www.aanaresortandspa.com/

i've also stayed in a lovely place in Bang Bao Fisherman Village... with little hut rooms right out on the water. it's been a few years though and I can't remember the name. staying in bang bao is nice if you're planning on spending time on the other islands (like koh maak), since boats leave from that pier.

I have been to Koh Chang several times and I have always stayed at the White Sand Beach in different hotels, also the times when I have been to Ko Mak and Ko Kut.
A couple of times I have stayed in the Koh Chang Kacha Resort and Spa hotel and I like it a lot. It's a good hotel.
At Cookies Hotel I have also stayed a couple of times, and that is also okay.
