How much did your flight cost ?
« on: March 26, 2018, 02:04:54 PM »

Hi. Jivvy just interested how much your flights cost ?

We just booked BA leaving June 12th - my return 5 weeks later cost £548 and the Missis 3 weeks later £590. I was quite pleased with that price - UNTIL talking to an Italian Guy here who flies regularly Milan - BKK return and gets Thai Airways CLUB class for Euro 800 !! (Cheaper booked in Europe ?).

A Friend went back on EVA last month B24,000 - good price at short notice. I find the prices on the EVA site itself are cheaper.

Every year I look at BA, EVA and Thai - BA flight times are the best for us, but EVA usually much more expensive and Thai Airways - out of sight !!  :o

I book return flights from the UK and use Skyscanner. Based in Teesside the preferred option is Emirates from Newcastle but occasionally Manchester is an option. My most recent booking on Emrates from Newcastle was a bargain at £447. This works out at 3.5p per mile!

Good price Teess (booked in UK). Love Emirates ! But BA is just 12 hours out, 11 hours back and a few free bed bugs LOL. ATB

BA is Ok if you live near Heathrow. Flew with them last year getting the shuttle down from Newcastle. So still 2 flights for me and  I had to suffer the horror that  is Heathrow. While the BA flight itself was not a patch on Emirates and you get 30kg luggage allowance to bring out some groceries.

Hi. Worth knowing that BA is 23kg in the baggage hold AND 23kg in the cabin.
Weird but true. (B777). Emirates is the better airline agreed.

Roger, Puzzled as to why you asked me about flight costs.
Flew here 10 years ago on Eva Air and I haven't been on a plane since

I think approx. 700 pounds return but didn't use the return ticket
